Learning Objectives
  1. Can create folders in the portal.
  2. Can manage created folders.


Step 1. Create a Folder

  1. Select Manage Resources > Manage Folder/File.


  2. Double-click the location where you want to add a folder.
    Selected item can be checked at the top of the search condition area.


  3. Click the New Folder button and set the name of the added folder.


  4. Click the Save button to save.


  5. Double-click the created folder to add subfolders.


  6. Click the New Folder button and set the name of the added folders.


  7. Click the Save button to save.



Step 2. Set Folder Permissions

  1. Click Permission > New button, and select a Department/User/Group > Apply Read/Write/Create permissions, then click the Save button.


    Note : Folder Permission Options

    Please refer to the following for folder permission details.

    OptionDescription
    ReadGrants permission to read folders / reports only
    WriteGrants permission to create/edit/delete reports, and to edit/delete folders
    CreateGrants permission to create reports within the folder only
    Write + CreateGrants permission to create/edit/delete reports, and to create/edit/delete folders within the folder
  2. Select the option in the Confirm Save window, and click the OK button.


    Note : Folder Permission Synchronization Options

    When applying folder permission, refer to the following for subfolder permission synchronization options.

    Apply set permissions only to selected foldersPermissions are applied only to the selected folders
    Only changes(new/modified/deleted) permissions to subfolders/files are reflected (Partial Sync)Keeps existing permissions as is, and applies only new(N), updated(U), and deleted permissions to subfolders/files
    Delete existing permissions of subfolders/files and sync with set permissions (Full Sync)Deletes all existing permissions on subfolders/files, and applies the new permissions entirely

Step 3. Sort Folders

  1. Double-click the folder sort order field to change the sort order.
